Jon Reed:
You did nothing to mediate between David Caputo and myself, and you know that.
David Caputo ripped me off and no one at Hidden Tech was willing to help me at all, including you. When I asked you to help me regarding this matter with David Caputo, you would not do so much as send an email to him in my behalf. You told me that it was not Hidden Tech’s place to get in the middle of disputes between members. I have no idea why you now have a double standard defending this particular conman and thief.
Even after I told you David Caputo ripped me off, you weren’t willing to warn other people about David Caputo’s practices, and you took steps to prevent me from warning other people, as well. Are you trying to facilitate David Caputo’s illegal activities? Helping a criminal break the law is called criminal facilitation. Is this what you are trying to do with David Caputo?
Jon, what does David Caputo have on you? Are you involved in some other illegal activity with David Caputo?
I was thrown off the Hidden Tech email list because I forwarded a link to a web site detailing the truth about the predatory nature of parking in Amherst MA, http://AmherstParkingTrap.com. David Caputo is a liar and a thief, and you are now defending him. Following this train of rationale to its logical conclusion, you should disband Hidden Tech now. In time all the truth tellers will be thrown off the list, and all you will be left with are thieves and liars.
Since David Caputo makes it impossible to pursue any court based legal remedy to recover my $16,000 this money is now gone, a debt that I will be continuing to pay for the next six years. Because I was stolen from, I now feel it is my responsibility to warn anyone and everyone about the way that this rip-off artist operates in any way that I can.
If you do not want me to contact Hidden Tech members in the future all you need to do is throw David Caputo off the list. You told me after David Caputo ripped me off that you would not have recommended that I have him build my web site. Another Hidden Tech board member had David Caputo thrown out of the Northampton Chamber of Commerce for disreputable business practices. Yet another Hidden Tech board member told me that she cringes whenever she sees David Caputo attend a Hidden Tech event. You know David Caputo is dirty. By supporting this conman, Hidden Tech is also dirty.
If you want Hidden Tech out of our dispute, I have given you the answer.
Regarding David Caputo promising not to badmouth me, I couldn’t care less what he has to say. Anyone foolish enough to believe anything that comes out of David Caputo’s mouth is about to be conned, anyway. That is what I am trying to warn people about!
Regarding stopping my community service against David Caputo, I will stop when I get my $16,000 back, and not before.

Phil – this type of email is not an appropriate thing to do on your part.
Years ago, when I mediated the dispute between you and David Caputo
regarding Hidden Tech, you both agreed to not go after each other
anymore. David promised to me last week he will continue NOT to
badmouth you. I’m disappointed you continue to carry on with this
type of trashing of David with Hidden Tech members after you gave me
your word he would stop.
I’ve been ripped off by some people in the past and I found a way to
move on with my life and find new opportunities. I recommend you do the same.

that he never completed.
He hires college students as “contractors” to do web site development
work and provides no accountability for the work they do.
He has many legal actions in progress against him, and has been
